Wierd Dream

I don't know why I didn't mention this yesterday, but on Monday night I had one of the wierdest dreams ever and I thought I'd share it with you guys.  Perhaps I could be Ricey's first psycology patient.

The dream had been going on for quite a while when I found my self in a studio looking up at a stage.  On the stage is me (this often happens in my dreams, where I can see my self in the third person view), C3PO (gold star wars robot) and Kim Jong Il (North Korean dictator).  Except it wasn't the Kim Jon Il that we all know and love, it was a forteen year old Korean girl called Kim, who was wearing a pink and green dress.  I seem to remember that there was a strange comedy show element to the dream, and it was a big joke that North Korea is actually ran by a 14 year old girl called Kim.  I remember that the audience of about thirty-five people, who were standing at the bottom of the stage, found this joke rather funny.

Then things got a little wierd.

It turned out that C3PO and Kim were to have a televised rap-off (there's probably a ghetto name for this that I'm unfamilar with) about the pro's and cons of North Korea.  My role was to be the referee in said rap-off.  C3PO started, and quickly went eight nil up in listing bad things about North Korea, whilst Kim just stood there taking it and giving approving nods now and then.  She seemed genuinely pleased about the things that the the robot was saying, whilst the audience danceed along.  C3PO then goes on to make his next point and come out with: "North Korea harbours international terrorists.... such as Princess Diana!"  Shock.  The audience collectively gasp.  Kim wheels back in disgust.  C3PO chokes.  Then I quickly interject: "Oooooh!  Wrong! Diana Princess of Wales was never an international terrorist!  One point to you Kim, now lets see what you've got!"

This is when I wake up.

I'm so happy! The internet is back after four days. After: endless phone calls to Telewest, rebooting, unplugging, rewiring and shouting at inanimate object.  Bliss.  Now I can check my four favourite websites over and over again in the vain hope of something interesting happen.  No Ricey, my favourtie websites does not include your Xanga, your Hot or Not page, or your myspace. Or your sisters myspace.

On the subject of websites, (this isn't one of my favourties either, but it is good) my housemate has a very funnny and popular blog called www.thepartridgefiles.co.uk (i think, it may be .com).  Check it out.

I'm going to see Room 101 filmed tonight.  Hopefully it will be better than last time, when the guest was Alan Sugar, my arch nemisis.  I'm hoping for Hasselhoff.

That's all for now

Comeback Kid

Hi!

I'll give you a moment to get back on your seat....

Yes, I've finally decided to take the ol' weblog for a spin once again.  Straight away, I've noticed a that there have been some major technoligical advances in the last nine months, so well done to the wonderful people at Xanga for this new weblog writing screen.  Top class.  I bet it wouldn't be nearly as difficult to upload that whale story again.

But what have I been up to? Good question I think, but I'm not going to tell you.  Its far more interesting that way for both of us.  It also has the advantage of me not having to fill in the rather large gap in the narrative betweem the whale thing and my breif incursion to Cardiff over the weekend.  Secretly, one of my favourite moments from the weekend was going through all the myspace links that Rich had found of people from Highcliffe, and then adding a few of my own.  Highlights include:

Ross Rolph (Broken Cord were good weren't they???)

Chris Williams (note how he has no friends, just like school, poor Chris)

..... and my personal favourite....  Martin H0dgson (Empty eyes of a shark...God help us all)...

Also good was Graham Page (Graham's Page), but I can't find the link due to myspace being shite.

Thanks once again for Bry and Rich for having us.  Well done to Theo for turning up, I know Dream Team is really compelling viewing.  Besides, most people who support teams in the lower leagues have a favourite Premiership to support in the absence of any real quality football from their lives.  Nice to see you all though.  Yes even you Ricey.  There really is nothing like being waken up by you walking to the room wearing just a towell.

Delcious

Hope you enjoyed this rather brief comeback, hopefully I'll last longer than Mark Owen and Gary Barlow.

love

Luke
